Founded in 1907 by the Chinese Red Cross, Huashan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University has grown into one of China's most prestigious tertiary general hospitals. Located in Shanghai, the hospital operates approximately 4,000 beds and serves millions of patients annually, making it a cornerstone of the national healthcare system.
Huashan is best known for its dominant clinical specialties. Its Department of Neurosurgery ranks among the top in the world, pioneering microsurgical techniques for complex brain and spinal conditions.
